It has been seven months since the full-on COVID-19 response of the world through quarantine, ban and restrictions. For most of us we haven’t feeling quite ourselves. But slowly, we are adapting to what is called the “New normal”.
In a country of coconuts as tropical as the Philippines, winter is something one would like to experience at least once in his or her lifetime. So here I am, someone whose mood is affected by the weather and someone who has always donned a jacket in an airconditioned room; about to experience the first winter of her lifetime.
Straight from work we boarded the Cebu-Iloilo plane in our uniforms. After numerous failed attempts of travelling together, finally we made it happen.
Opening salvo for my summer is a road trip to Badian. Badian is located south of Cebu. It would take approximately around four to five hours from Cebu City to Badian (depending on the traffic and stops) . Badian boasts Lambug for its powder sand beach.
